Publication Norms

 

·         The paper should be unpublished work. The journal combats plagiarism which it defines as the imitation of the ideas, thoughts and language of another author presented as one’s own original contribution. The magazine accepts duplication only when an article was initially published in a vernacular language and the author wants to gain a wider audience by translating it into an international language. In this case, the author should give the editorial board full details of the scientific magazine where the work was published and the accept for its reproduction in our magazine.

·         The research paper should be divided into background, material and methods, results, discussion, conclusions, references

·         The paper must contain the author or authors’ full names, Institution they belong to and their e-mails;

·         The paper must be submitted in the official languages of the publication: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian and Russian; they must contain a title, an abstract written in English, five to ten key words as well as a ten row bio note about the author(s);

·         The maximum length for the articles is 20 pages, with a single space interlining;

·         The abstract should count 200-250 words and reflect the structure of the article (research background, investigation methods, results and conclusions)

·         The keywords should define the content but not repeat the title of the manuscript

·         The contributions must be sent in word format;

·         The manuscript should preferably use the paper size 17/24 cm;

·         The documents must be sent preferably in Garamond Font size 11;

·         Footnotes must be put automatically in Garamond Font size 9;

·         Final references must be added in the last section of the article preferably in Garamond Font size 11;

·         Images illustrating the text must be sent as .jpg or .tiff files; the author assumes responsibility for the right to publish the images;

·         The manuscript should be sent to the e-mail address: editorial@valahianjournal.info and should be accompanied by the manuscript submission and copyright release form signed by the author(s) (please download it from here): Manuscript submission.pdf

·         The journal’s editorial board reserves the right that upon the review by the referents to publish or reject any of the received papers and to suggest any of the collaborators changes that may be considered as necessary.
